c.1500 A.D. A pleasant Tudor period ladies bronze decorative finger ring found many years back in Yorkshire and from an old Scottish collection. A simple but appealing ring with a fairly plain band with feint ridging around topped by a circular bezel with central raised pellet surrounded by a ring of raised pellets. Probably once gilded or silvered but now just bronze. Tiny split in band behind the underneath the bezel which could easily be repaired if required to be worn again otherwise totally intact and in good overall condition with a pleasant dark bronze patina, internal diameter approx.18mm, band 3-4mm wide, bezel 10mm diameter,
