c.14th Century A.D. A rare and excellent Medieval Iron "Tanged Bodkin" Armour Piercing arrowhead found in the 1990's on the foreshore of the River Thames, London and from an old collection of River Thames finds. Of fairly typical form with a solid, quad sided, bi-conical arrow tip with a slender elongate tang below for insertion into a wooden arrow shaft for use. Totally intact and in very good condition for ancient iron, a decent example of this rare type of arrowhead, 72mm long, arrow point 8mm x 8mm
