Late Bronze age c.800-700 B.C. A rare and excellent, miniature votive Bronze Age bronze Torc unearthed on a Bronze Age site at Upavon, Wiltshire many years ago and from an old Norfolk collection. These unusual little items were produced for votive deposition at a sacred site and may even have once been silvered or gilded although now merely bronze. Expertly fashioned, undamaged and with good smooth surfaces and an attractive overall shiny dark green patina, a particularly nice example of the type, c.23mm diameter, supplied in a display box,
