A Rare section of decking from S.S. Nomadic (launched 1911), Tender boat for the famous RMS Titanic; SS Nomadic was a former tender boat of the White Star Line, launched on 25 April 1911 in Belfast and now restored is on display in Belfast's Titanic Quarter. She was built to transfer both passengers and mail to and from RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic. She is the only surviving vessel designed by Thomas Andrews who also designed those two ocean liners, and now the only White Star Line vessel in existence today. This section of decking was part of a small batch sold off some years back to help fund its ongoing restoration. It comes with the original signed certificate from the Nomadic Preservation Society. There are two contiguous oak plank sections with original caulking strips still in situ between. The decking section is intact, solid and in very good condition throughout. A rare chance to obtain a genuine piece of history relating to RMS Titanic and a small piece of the only remaining White Star line vessel, certainly a real conversation piece!, decking measures 182mm x 150mm x 20mm thick
