c.2nd/3rd Century A.D. A scarce and unusual lead wheel from a Roman childs pull along toy chariot found many years ago in Nottinghamshire and from an old collection. A couple of very minor knocks and a tiny bit mishapen from its time buried in the Earth but otherwise intact and in very good overall condition for ancient lead. Good surfaces with typical whitish ageing and surface patination. A scarce and seldom encountered Roman artifact, 35mm diameter.
