c.3000 - 2500 B.C. A good sized, excellent and well worked Neolithic Tanged flint arrowhead found many years back in Kent and from a Kentish collection. Expertly fashioned from a pleasant and semi-translucent light brown/grey flint with a distinctive Heart shaped main body, a good point and bi-facially flaked down both sides to form, the still sharp, arrowheads cutting edges. A prominent and again well worked tang at the base for insertion into a wooden arrow shaft, totally intact and in very nice condition with a good old surface patination, a very nice example of the type, 35mm long x 28mm wide x 7mm thick
