Late Dynastic period c.600 - 500 B.C. A small stylised Ancient Egyptian turquoise glazed faience amulet of Sekhmet (Lion headed Goddess). An attractive radiant deep turquoise glazed faïence amulet depicting Sekhmet the Lion headed Warrior Goddess and Goddess of healing; She is depicted wearing Nemes headdress topped with a Solar disc and with a large elaborate pectoral collar across her chest. Amulet pierced through neck for suspension, totally intact and in lovely condition with the most attractive shiny deep turquoise glaze. A super little amulet supplied in a display box, 14mm high x 9mm wide.
