Product Description
c.2nd / 3rd Century A.D. A small but excellent Roman redware terracotta bowl excavated in Tunisia, North Africa many years back and from an old Bournemouth collection. The bowl is very nicely made and well proportioned; it features a small ring pedestal base which then widens out to a squat wide body with fine rim. Totally intact and in lovely condition for such a fine piece with just a little surface dirt in a couple of places as excavated, a very nice example of the type, 74mm diameter x 40mm high
