SOLD
c.1300-1400 A.D. A small but pleasant Medieval bronze Vesica personal seal found many years ago close to a Castle in North Yorkshire and from a Durham private collection. Some minor pitting making the central design a little vague but much of the surrounding legend citing the owners name still reasonably clear and should still make an impression. Suspension loop on reverse. Some minor pitting in parts but otherwise intact and good with a pleasant overall dark patina. A very reasonably priced example of the type, 25mm long x 15mm wide.
