Foxhall Road Habitation site dated to MIS 11, c.400,000 to 300,000 B.C. A small Early Paleolithic Flint core tool found in the early 20th Century at the famous and well documented site of the Foxhall Road Gravel pit in Ipswich, Suffolk. The tool is well fashioned from a pleasant dark flint and shows clear working with a well defined functional tip. Totally intact and in very good condition with nice ageing and patination, an affordable example from a notable Paleolithic site, 65mm long x 40mm at widest x 22mm thick
