Product Description
Late Neolithic to Early Bronze age c.2200 - 1800 B.C. A small, pleasant and very finely worked Chert tanged arrowhead found many years ago in Sussex and from an old Canadian Lithic collection amassed in the 1960's/70's. Very nicely fashioned from a pleasant black/dark-grey coloured Chert, bi-facially worked and pressure flaked on either side with a good tip and sharp edges with a small but well defined tang at the base for insertioning into a wooden arrow shaft. Minute old edge knock at base of one side (not-detracting) otherwise totally intact and in lovely condition, a nice and unusual example of the type, 30mm long x 12mm wide.
