c.4th Century B.C. A super little Ancient Greek decorative pedestalled bowl from the Grecian Colonies of Southern Italy. A well made and robust vessel fashioned from a pleasant buff coloured terracotta with an applied decorative painted dark brown / black ring design around both bowl and pedestal foot. From an old West Country collection. Small old chip to edge of foot on one side (not detracting) and painted bands faded in parts otherwise totally intact and in very nice condition with good surfaces, a very appealing Ancient Greek vessel, 75mm diameter x 44mm high.
