c.4000-3000 B.C. A super and finely pressure flaked Neolithic Discoidal flint scraper / knife found in Suffolk many years back and from a Cornish collection. Fashioned from a most attractive mottled white, blue grey coloured flint. Of fine even section with a finely worked semi-circular blade edge which has been expertly pressure flaked all around its perimiter, totally intact and in excellent condition with lovely surfaces and a pleasant old surface ageing and patination with some iron oxide highlights, a very nice example of the type, approx 44mm diameter x 5mm at thickest.
