c.3000 B.C. A superb Neolithic flint knife with a finely pressure flaked blade edge found many years ago in Feltwell, Norfolk and from a Cornish private collection. A nicely defined uni-face flint tool fashioned from a pleasant and typically East Anglian dark grey flint; obviously made for use by a right handed person with a bulb of percussion perfectly situated for locating a thumb and a corresponding dip on the underside where the index finger naturally sits facilitating a good grip. The main knife blade edge is very finely pressure flaked all along its length making it almost denticulated and a very effective cutting tool. A very nice example of a finely worked Neolithic flint knife, 64mm long x 30mm wide.
