SOLD

c.2nd/3rd Century A.D. A very large and impressive Roman Military socketed Iron arrowhead excavated in Germany and from a London collection. A long slender tapering lozenge shaped blade, tapering socket at base of spearhead for fitment on to wooden arrow shaft. Some surface roughness as is typical for ancient iron and a couple of tiny knocks otherwise in good overall condition for ancient iron, a larger than normal and resonably priced example of the type, 137mm long x 26mm at widest.
