Product Description

Kimmeridgian layers , Weymouth, Dorset. Jurassic Period c.152-157 million years old. A particularly large, nice quality vertebrae (back bone) from an Icthyosaur, a huge carnivorous sea reptile, somewhat reminiscent to a very large Dolphin in shape. A much larger than usual example with good detail and definition, from a Hampshire Geologists collection, 105mm x 98mm x 20mm
