c.1300-1400 A.D. A very large and pleasant Medieval bronze strap end found many years back in Norfolk and from an old Norfolk collection. This imposing strap end features an elongate main body with engraved zig-zag design along its length and culminating with a decorative carved finial. Totally intact and in lovely condition with good metal, nice surfaces and a pleasant shiny green patination, a very nice example of the type, 71mm long x 11mm wide
