SOLD
Early Bronze age c.1800-1600 B.C. A very nice Early Bronze age Barbed & Tanged flint arrowhead originally found in Wessex in the mid-20th Century and from an extensive Canadian lithic collection amassed in the 1960's/70's. Very nicely fashioned from a pleasant, semi-translucent pale grey / buff coloured flint, finely worked and pressure flaked on either side with a good tip and sharp edges with small but well defined barbs. Tiny chip to very bottom edge of one barb and base of tang (not detracting) otherwise totally intact and in lovely condition, a nice example of the type, 23mm long x 21mm wide.
