c.5th/4th Century B.C. An Ancient Scythian/Greek bronze "Single Barbed Leaf" socketed arrowhead. Excavated in the Eastern Greek provinces some years back and from a Scottish collection. Socketed at base for insertion of the tip of a wooden arrow shaft and, with leaf shaped blades and a small back swept barb. A few minor pits to surface mainly on one side, not detracting, otherwise intact and in good overall condition for its great age with an overall greenish patina, 30mm long x 9mm wide
