SOLD

c.3000-2500 B.C. An attractive and nicely worked plano-convex Neolithic fint "Slug knife" found near Swaffham, Norfolk and from and old Norfolk collection. Fashioned from an attractive deep light/dark blue mottled flint/grey coloured with iron oxide highlights adding to its appeal. Nicely worked all over the upper surface with good and still sharp blade edges. Very nice colouration, surface patination and ageing, a very nice example of the type. 52mm long x 19mm wide.
