c.1400 A.D. An excellent and good sized example of a Medieval bronze annular brooch complete with its original pin found in North Yorkshire and from a Scottish collection. Probably once silvered or gilded but now just patinated bronze. The brooch is totally intact and in excellent condition, of good metal with nice surfaces and a pleasant overall shiny dark olive patination, a very nice example of the type, 26mm diameter, hoop 3mm thick
