c.3000-2500 B.C. An excellent and finely worked Neolithic semi-translucent flint knife from Norfolk. Nicely fashioned from an attractive semi-translucent brownish coloured flint flake; the blade carefully knapped to shape and then finely pressure flaked along its main blade edge making it almost serrated to the touch. Intact and in lovely condition with good surface ageing and shiny patination, an appealing example. Ex Cornish private collection, 48mm long x 20mm at widest, 5mm at thickest.
