c.1500 A.D. An excellent and wearable Tudor Period gents bronze finger ring with fairly plain band with ornate punched decoration on shoulders and an elaborate inscribed and punched lozenge shaped design on the bezel. The ring was probably once gilded or silvered but now merely bronze with pleasant greenish surface patination. Robust, of good shape and in very nice condition, could still be worn if desired. Internal diameter of ring 21mm, band 3mm widening to 6mm at shoulders, bezel approx.20mm x 13mm. A nice and appealing ancient ring.
