Neolithic c.3000 B.C. An excellent and well worked Neolithic flint "Leaf" arrowhead and part of a small group of lithics found on the same habitation site in Holbury, Hampshire, May 1916 and from an old collection (small sticker shown in photos now removed) This good sized arrowhead is a lovely example of its type and is bi-facially worked from a pleasant mottled light/dark grey & cream coloured flint and further re-touched along the sides to further define its blade edges. A minute old knock to very tip (not detracting) otherwise totally intact and in very nice condition with a lovely overall shiny old collection patination, 43mm long x 19mm wide x 4mm at thickest, a very nice Neolithic arrowhead from an old collection.
