c.1st Century B.C. An excellent Celtic bronze spiral hair ring found in Germany many years back and from a Scottish collection. Simplistically formed from a coiled thick bronze wire, these hair spirals would have been worn in groups as a hair adornments and possibly once even silvered or gilded but now just dark bronze with a pleasant dark green patina, a couple of minor spots of roughness otherwise intact and in nice overall condition, 16mm diameter x 17mm high
