Early Bronze age c.1800-1600 B.C. An excellent Early Bronze age Barbed & Tanged flint arrowhead originally found in Wessex in the mid-20th Century and from an extensive Canadian lithic collection amassed in the 1960's/70's. Very nicely fashioned from a pleasant cream / buff coloured flint, finely worked and pressure flaked on either side with a good tip and still sharp edges, two well defined square ended barbs and residual tang. Apart from small piece of tang missing, it is totally intact and in very nice condition, a good example of the type,  28mm long x 24mm wide.
