c.A.D. 800 - 1000. An excellent Early Byzantine Bronze Crucifix [Cross] on original bronze suspension loop. Of typical simplistic form with a suspension loop of twisted bronze wire. Totally intact and in very nice condition with good surfaces and metal. Dark olive green surface patination. This crucix could easily be mounted onto a modern chain and worn again if required. A nice example of the type, supplied in display box, Crucifix 23mm long (33mm including loop) x 14mm wide
