Cretaceous Period c.90-65 million years old. An excellent fossilised sea sponge that has become preserved within a pebble and cut open and professionally polished to show the internal structure of the sponge. An interesting and tactile piece, found in Suffolk. 46mm long x 36mm wide x 15mm thick.
