c.2500 B.C. An excellent Late Neolithic Assymetric "Hollow Base" flint arrowhead from Halamaning, Cornwall. Fashioned from a brown/beige coloured semi-translucent flint flake, slightly assymetric in form with area of original cortex down left edge. Unifacial with smooth underside and finely worked and pressure flaked around tip along the right hand curved blade edge. Totally intact and in excellent condition with good surface ageing and patination. Ex Cornish private collection. A nice example of the type, 31mm long x 18mm at widest.
