SOLD
c.14th Century A.D. An excellent Medieval bronze Dagger scabbard chape found in Yorkshire and from an old Scottish collection. Design somewhat reminiscent of a horses nose with a crescent shaped mouth, two nostrils and an engraved band across the top similar to a horse harness strap. Totally intact and in very good condition with decent surfaces and metal with a pleasant overall green patina, a decent example of the type, 35mm long x 26mm wide x 6mm thick
