Product Description

c.200-100 B.C. An impressive decorated rim section from a large Iron Age bulbous Storage jar, found at Brantham, Suffolk. Of very distinctive Iron Age style with a large curled over rim and featuring an impressed repeating double leaf pattern and fine inscribed lines below; from a vessel of considerable size, possibly used for storing grain. An impressive shard and in very nice condition with good stable surfaces, 135mm wide x 90mm high x 60mm deep.
