Product Description
c.1500-1550 A.D. An interesting group of 4 x assorted Tudor period decorative bronze mounts found in the River Thames, London. These ornate and intricate bronze decorative mounts would probably once have adorned scabbards, caskets or even items of clothing, some have small holes where they would have been fixed using small bronze rivets. A couple have some very minor knibbling or damage (not detracting) otherwise all are intact and in nice condition, an interesting study or retail group, largest mount 42mm, smallest 16mm.
