Third Intermediate Period c. 23rd/24th Dynasty - 837-712 B.C. Nicely presented fragments of linen wrapping from the outer wrappings of an Ancient Egyptian Mummy. These linen fragments were unearthed in 1971 at the famous site of Saqqara, Egypt and hail from an old Irish collection. Stains from oils and unguents used in the wrapping process are still clearly visible. Linen fragments nicely presented in a traditional glass fronted wood effect frame with a fold out stand to allow it to stand on a shelf or cabinet. An interesting addition to any Egyptian collection. Linen segments each approximately 55-60mm x 25-30mm wide, frames measures 190 mm tall x 140mm wide.
